John Brumley
State Representative to National Association of Home Builders
John Brumley is a licensed contractor in West Virginia, the founder and owner of Tri-State Publications, and Immediate Past President of the Home Builders Association of WV. He is currently President of Tri-State HBA, a position he has held off and on over a number of years. In the past he has served a number of years as State Rep and two years as National Area Chairman for Region 6. He is a Life Member in both state and national associations and was publisher of the West Virginia Builder magazine for 13 years.
John has received numerous recognitions including (HBAWV) Associate of the Year, (HBAWV) Henry E. King Member of the Year, Life Spike Award, (HBAWV) Best Residential Remodeling Project Class I, Realtor of the Year (Huntington Board of Realtors), Affiliate of the Year (HBOR), Mary Pauley Community Service Award (WV Association of Realtors), and a number of community service awards. He is the founder of “Friends of the Cabell-Huntington-Wayne Animal Shelter”, successful grant writer, and recently had a pole building which he constructed at the shelter named in his honor. For over 9 years he served on the Huntington Habitat for Humanity board of directors and spearheaded 3 projects with the Realtors and Home Builders for that group.
