My name is Aaron Dickerson. I own and operate ALD Enterprises, LLC and Kitchens and Baths by Design in Morgantown, West Virginia. My loving and supportive wife, Angela, and I have two children, Noah and Avery. Family is in large part the reason why I got into the construction industry. I was raised in a family rich in the building trades, and I learned early on how important and rewarding the trades could be. After obtaining a B.S. in civil engineering, I worked for a short time for a commercial contractor before I was drawn to starting my own business.
I became involved with the Home Builders Association on a local level early in my career, in 2009. I was quickly afforded the opportunity to become a local board member and become active in committees. This led to my involvement on some state-level events and, ultimately, my participation on the state board.
Once I saw what the HBA had to offer to a beginning contractor, I wholeheartedly committed to becoming a contributing member of the association. From the beginning, I saw the importance of membership and getting involved. The family and connections that I have made during my time in the association have played a large part in the growth and success of my businesses.
As president, I want to continue to urge the importance of membership and the building of a professional family to support all members and businesses that make the Home Builders Association of West Virginia such an amazing trade association. I hope to be able to continue the strong line of leadership from my predecessors and help to continue to build the association.
